Thanks very much Russell. Will come back to you later, need to get back in to my 2cv project and get that finished first. The Ami may be the next winter project. Many Ami6 clubs in the UK? are they RHD?
Cheers
Viking

I think the remaining RHD ami6 is not a club. Not sure, Neil?

Pretty sure that John's isn't a club; it doesn't have any of the trim or club 'lights...

Wasn't there another RHD Ami 6 that surfaced recently? Ami Matt was on about it, i'm sure!

Oh...Nice 8-)

Today, most likes the Club-lights(came in -68, right?)
But the square-one's are kind a right for the time where tha car was introdused to the marked. Wasn't the AMI 6 the first French car with square lights?

Hey Viking, is it hard to find "cheap" used parts for AMI 6 in France?
I need headlighs..... "Round or square, I don't care"
And complete set of ignition and doorlocks. Last owner can't find the key... May there be a way to find a keycode? For making a new key?

Without ever thinking of buying a AMI, I suddently had to save one from the scrapyard couple of month's ago. Planned for parts, I suddently fell in love with it when I sat down behind the steeringwheel. I LOVE the interior! And the handling 8-)
It soon became obvious that it will not end up as parts.

My car looks like crap, but hey, it's mine. And it can be restored.

Viking, more pictures plz ;)

Yes I’ve read somewhere that the AMI was the first car on earth to be fitted with rectangular head lights…!!!

Cheap? What is cheap?

I never liked Ami cars but I’m slowly being sucked in. I’m trying to resist but think I will surrender. Wife Lorraine surrendered 5 minutes after the Ami arrived. She said ‘please fix it and take it to contrôle technique, I want it. Bloody hell, it needs a lot of work. It has been butchered inside and outside. Chassis is buggered; engine and gear box is Ami 8, no good. Well the lady has decided, she wants it, so we are now chasing 1 more in better condition. Found this yesterday and may ring to find out.
