Fitted some new silicone hoses and a dump valve. Nothing else changed - just driving it everyday....

Dump valve pipe work

Line fed from boost/ vac pressure gauge. Main body mounted in plenum.

Chris I think the little hose isn't correct as far as I can see at the pic. Little hose should go directly to the inlet manifold....... I'm not sure if it does now.....

Geo,
Think I have found the problem. Dump valve was not new and big piston was not moving freely inside valve. Sometimes it was sticking so the litle piston (plastic) had only the small spring as pressure to keep it closed. Therefore as pressure built up in the plenum it moved the little spring enough for me to hear it vent. I will try out later as maybe going back to bed......

Dump valve working ok now and car back on full boost. If the second one goes again 2 choices - bin it and use car as was before or - buy new dump valve with trumpet on it to sound like an old Audi Quatro rally car. :) :) :) :)

Fitted Geo's 1-2 Spark version II today and took it for a couple of drives and 1-2 spark version 1 was good but this is better (on turbo engine and N.A engine) as when cruising at 90 - 100 kph before the ignition was retarded to stop knock for boost now ignition is advanced as car is at zero boost or vacuum 0.1 - 0.2 bar. When the throttle is then floored for over take or hill it retards the ignition automatically so no knock at 0.6 bar boost.

Well happy :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
