Wonderful stuff!

My first 2cv was a '78 Geranium drummer, too - TWB152S. Only eight years old when I bought it (I was 15 at the time), but it already had rot in the floors, sills, chassis...

So at the end of last month I stuck the a frame on it and dragged it out to get started working on it.

The next saturday I got up with a slightly sore head

Then last week I spent a few evenings removing everything else off the shell and started to uncover lots of rust!!! :cry:

Interestingly this seam is lead loaded I'm sure i've noticed the smoothed in effect of this on other 2cvs of this era is this something citroen used to do then stopped to save money on later cars ?

Yes, this was normal on 50s, 60s and 70s cars.
