It is!

They are happy that they think they have some knowledge about old cars, and I'm happy because I avoided getting in to a argument with an person who thinks he knows everything about my car..

The same as people saying this:
"I used to own one of those too back in the day.. Does yours has a convertible top/seats that are easy to take out/those funny front windows that drop on your elbow/that funny gearstick on the dash/wobbly suspension/etc*"
*delete as applicable

I had the same with my Sahara replica. Put some Belgium licenceplates on it some old Belgium 2cv paperwork and headed to the Belgium/Dutch border.

When I arrived at the border all the Borderguys (Douane) came out of the buildings, looked at the car and they said Wow its the first time I see a real Sahara, who am I to say it is a replica then

So from that point everthing (including dutch RDW was a piece of cake then)..... and now I've got original Sahara paperwork...........
it says 2 times 2 cilinders on it......

Moreover theirs was quick as hell; 130kmh easy peasy, but a bit later they tell you they got rid of it because it was too slow and unsafe :?

The van is now in France and is getting a little TLC. Preparing it for a beating for Morocco after the world meeting whilst everything is off.

More photos to follow.
