After 17 years of wanting a 2cv for my first car, last March my dad (Ed Mason) and godfather (Richard Dalton) and I got together and planned out a project to rebuild a 89 2cv Richard had in his garage.

8 Months later it was driven down from Stoke to Worcester where it is now in use :)

Posting some pics up for anyone who is interested and so I can barrage you all with daft questions about it!

Looks tidy, I like the adaptation to put in 3point seatbelts in the rear.

one of the more noticable changes - a lot of them are hidden structural modifications... Which is why Louis calls it the tank!

And basically nothing has been done to the inside - keep costs down and so I can slowly add/alter things as an ever on going project (Eg: the orange dust under the front seats in the last photo are from the seat foam that desperately needs replacing...)

Good to see another local 2CV'er, perhaps we'll see you at WASPs sometime soon.

Coach and Horses is a bit far away - I'm actually in Ledbury so the Trumpet is much closer for me :)

Ooh, keep an eye out for me. Although I'm not running an A series at the moment, if you get flashed by an ancient Land Rover pickup in blue and green, that'll be me!

Ledbury? hmm I'm down that way very occasionally (family in staunton) so if you see a grey c4 (or blue dyane) waving then t'is me.

I'll probably just wave anyway - amusing amount of people I don't recognise wave/flash at me!
