Bugger!

Oops maybe a little heat on the alloy post and a squirt of pipe freeze on the stud should see it out.

Approaching the level of cheap farce now. Think I'll take it to an engine shop and see if they can help.

I can post you another head. Seriously, that stud isn't coming out.

Also set about rebuilding my suspension cans today. Noticed that there was a bit missing from one of my spring end cups:



Can this be repaired, or should I bite the bullet and buy a new one? Does anyone have a spare that I could swap for beer tokens of sommat?

For that stud: find an engine shop , they' ll have it out in no time.

Calling all metal gurus!

Does anyone on here have the metal bending skills/equipment to fabricate one or two of these (one for each side of the vehicle) for me?



This image of the severely bashed original shows that each single piece needs to be bent in two places, along its entire length.



If there isn't anyone on here who can help, does anyone know anyone who could help?

Can you send me a fairly accurate drawing of it? Mainly the profile and the length. Should be no issues to make.
