The bulkhead matting had past it, so this is being replaced.....

So the plan for the finished car, everything you can see when the car is parked up will look old and tatty...
All of the under bonnet area will be detailed as well as the underside...

Getting there now.....

This is fantastic - what do you mean when you had the bolts etc chemically yellowed?

As in i sent them away all rusty and covered in grease dirt etc and they came back like new... iI think it cost £75 pounds all in...
The process is called chemically yellowed.... but as you can see they look gold....

Every single nut bolt and bracket has been stripped and chemically yellowed ...

This is by no means meant negatively but would it not have been better to replace.. Rather than renew? Im impressed with the result

I have made one or 2 cars like this about 20 years back, but the older I get I can't bring it up anymore. I just drive like they are at the moment (rusty), only make them technical half decent and thats it...
I think it is a little protest of me, all these shiny modern cars and then me...

However I love what I see (it isn't my peace of cake <<roofrack>>) but there's a lot of love and labour involved anyone can see that...

You must have a smile from ear to ear I guess building it up with all these shiny bits and peaces...

Still waiting for the video rising and lowering it.........
