Thanks Neil. I'd forgotten to put them between the tags!

I spent a happy 8 hours working on the car in the sun today, so here are all the latest pics: -

Non H+S approved way of propping the body off the chassis to paint the underside of the floor and boot floor (yes, removing the body and turning it over would have been better...)
Image

It worked though (though needed another coat)

Sills primed

Body bolted down, exhaust fitted, brakes hooked up and bled, running sweetly (doors just plonked on, not fitted):-)

Cheers! I'm afraid my standard of workmanship doesn't come anywhere near yours - I'm far too impatient!

Here's Sunday's update: -

Sills painted, doors and front wings fitted...

Better get the gazebo up over it Jono. The next few days are going to be wet. Give us a shout if you need a hand Tuesday.

Don't worry, it's in the garage. I've got a bit of a road trip planned for tomorrow, to get various parts for it. I'll keep you in mind for Tuesday - though there's not really all that much left to do. Feel free to come round for a cuppa and a gander at the car whenever though.

I just managed to get the back and the inside painted today in the dry. The roof's now on, and there are just a few bits to attach tomorrow. MOT is booked for 2pm on Wednesday...

For the outside I used some rattle cans that I had mixed up to the AC code from an online place that Will told me about, and it's a perfect match. For the inside I had some synthetic paint mixed up to a sample of the colour by my local paint place, and brushed it on. This is the same sort of paint that my blue car is painted with.
