Loads of wheels you can have. There's two scrap wheels on the rear axle in the stillage, I'll be up there tomorrow if you want to come and take them.

Cool ill text you

Do all replacement sills come without the holes for the sill trim? Ive left my sill trim off, surely with x amount of holes and a trim on the side, some water must get in?

Ahh it's interesting how many people make this mistake when welding in floors...
Floors should be placed at the TOP of the sill not the bottom, that's the way Citroen intended them to go in the original plan...

So I haven't updated this in ages, but basically Russ is a welding genius and has made a superb job of this. I've had it sprayed up locally and it's looking superb.

I do have pics, but they're on my other computer.

It's been off the road a year now and I really miss it. The plan is to keep it off the road and give it some proper attention before getting it back on the road for the winter and next year.

So.... until I have access to some pics... watch this space.

So this thread has been shamefully quiet. The story goes that I bought this car in 2006 totally used it and abused it until 2012 when I realised it wasn't going to get through any more MoTs and besides I was moving to London where I don't need a car and when home I could use the van which is tax exempt.

In August 2012 Russ did the deeds for me and put in new floors and sills made by Ken, sills, C posts and made new seat belt mounts, rear heels and that angled bit under the rear seats. And a marvellous job he did too.

Russ primered her up and then we took it for painting at a local paint shop. On return to the barn we sat it back on the chassis weber much to my embarrassment it has languished throughout 2013.
my excuse is something along the lines of too much dancing, too much drinking, too many woman and too many late nights, sometimes all at the same time.

However it's now 2014 and I'm keen to hide in sussex where all these women can't find me get my lovely D*lly back on the road. It is a great car and I love it. Yes I love wollies. Call me what you will. So I spent last weekend, and have many more weekends planned sorting it out. The body is now back off the chassis sitting on beams so I can comfortably work underneath and sort the chassis out.

First job was rescuing the seat belt reinforcements from the old floors. I've left them soaking in coke this week to clean them up and will get them fitted next week. I'm properly excited to see progress, can't wait to get stuck in again :)

As I said in the text yesterday I'm very grateful for your effort tidying the barn out, however what I didn't notice was that those 4x2s the shells sitting on are due to become part of the new wall in the workshop, you might find I've had to pinch them this week. I will try and find something to replace them with mind you.
