Actually, the boot handle on my Dad's old Charleston got snapped half, just like Sam's, when it was driven into by an Izuzu Trooper with bull bars and pushed into a Volvo Estate with a tow bar, in 1991. Luckily, it was low speed and the Charleston was fixed. Sadly, it did a better job of destroying itself a few years later when it succumbed to the rust fairy.

Re: My 2cv F698 UFX UPDATED What cr***y luck for you. The green/white and red/white Dollys are my all time favourite 2CV colours and yours looks pretty good to me.

Cheers for that Paul, I do try and keep her nice - not always easy with a daily car. The driver's door's pretty terminal but I keep smothering her with Mer to protect her.
