Hi, for those who do not know me my name is Jack. And i thought it was about time i introduced you to my car. I am a first time owner of a dyane project (nearly finnito!).

This is how it was when i first got it; for free i might add:

I used to own that vehicle! Had it off Jon (Spanners) in late 2004 and donated it in a roundabout way to some friends in Leicester a year or so later, in return for the use of their garage space - I ended up with a two-tone brown/beige 2CV via a convoluted three-way swap :?

Great! I'll let my friends know that PDF lives on :D They are still (local) club members and do sometimes ask if any of their old cars have popped up anywhere
I'll see if I can find any old photos for you

Thought I recognized it. Is the brown/beige 2CV the one that belonged to Chris and Tracy? If so, that belonged to Jon 'Spanners' too

Yep! Do you think if I asked nicely I could get a hat-trick of Jon's cast-offs? Hmm...

These three pictures were taken on my friend's driveway in Birmingham - I picked the car up on February 12th, 2004 and kept it until August 31st the same year It filled in the gap when my van went off the road, though it was later replaced by an A-reg brown/beige Special and then a buttermilk Special, until I finally had the van fixed in 2009...

Well, I'll be jiggered. Of all the ex-Spanners cars, this is one I didn't think I'd see again.

Nice work Jack. 8-)

Its like that "6 degrees of separation" where you can link any famous person to another by the partners they have had....usually crossing at Bobby Kennedy or Marlyn Monroe, but the automotive line always seems to go via Spanners.

A series tart
