Black wheels next i reckon, its a nice car. Just hope not many people get close enough to see your rusty bits. works for me. (people a mile away anyway.)

I like it as it is now, the grey bumpers and wheels are a perfect contrast. I would perhaps fit a full set of aluminium Robri's against the black, but nothing else. I do think that black is a fantastic colour on a 2cv, as long as it's kept simple and otherwise original, it's perfect. Some Belgium market black 2cvs from the late '80s are in the UK, imported at the time by the now defunct Birmingham 2cv Centre.

I would possibly fit some front-of-rear-wings Robris, in place of the plastic ones I have now, but I don't want a bling-mobile. I'd also like some rubber rear-bumper overriders but I don't think you can get them for the narrow bumper. Otherwise I don't plan much else other than fighting rust.

Hey Matthew. What a difference it looks now to when you first bought it! The red bits looked pretty rubbish imho - can't beat the original gris rose for the wheels, bumpers etc. Good work!

The rubber over-riders on rear bumpers are German spec. and only fit wide bumpers. I quite like them myself, but I also have a narrow rear bumper fitted to my car.

It's hard to believe somebody had such a pretty black 2cv fresh from a paint shop and then decided to build it up with all the red jazz! It looks better now Matthew, agreed about the bling, it's hard to know when to stop.

Yes, I bought some off ebay which it said fitted the narrow bumper, but when I tried I found they didn't. Kept them for posterity, though they are quite tall & narrow and not the squarer fatter ones I prefer.
