Commuting has gone well, stood up superbly in central town traffic, though think i may have 'cooked' the clutch a bit with the work on the fields.....has developed a real judder on 1st.

Dropped off at garage today for MOT and some fettling during next week. Possiblity of epic fail ''post'' by Weds. Most important is replacement of both rear doors....the glass is nearly falling out of the present ones. Clutch to be checked, hand brake tightened, kpins greased and an oil change.

But thats enough about me. I am sure the 2cv will fly through

No, I have had virtually no time this week to get things prepared for the test, which of course I should have done !!!!

Not just an epic fail, but we went onto 2 sheets of 'fails'. We are talking a novel. Both kings, both rear shocks, handbrake, front pads, fog lamp, reg lamp ( last 2 are a load of testicles 'cos I checked them before I dropped it off ). But you know what; this car deserves a break. It is my own 602 legend. I frigging love it. So I paid the £ and have just got it back this morning. The £££ (and they are big round numbers) come at the expense of the Caban not being finished for the L2B. And I made the right choice...both my heart and head told me to spend the money on the Spesh. And I am grinning from ear to ear. I wonder if I will say the same when I eventually get the Dyane back ? The Caban restoration is all getting a bit too contrived for my liking.
