Bugger! Where the hell did that week go?

Had a great week, other than the drive to and from the Gite (and a little detour via Viking) we didn't do too much driving-clocking up a mere 1250km over the week. But they were1250 absolutely trouble/drama free kms.

I need to top up with fuel this morning and will then work out all the statistics but so far, it works out that we've averaged 48.77mpg too!

There's umpty-ump British vehicles on the continent. Unsellable - because the wheel's on the wrong side. Unreturnable - because the tax/test have long since expired.

In Spain, they're apparently knee-deep around airports where people have dumped 'em as they've flown home disillusioned with the property market.

Over the 1252km (777 miles) we've averaged 5.67 litres per 100kms or 49.65mpg.

The Saab 99 looks rather lovely, too.
