Firstly I must stress that this is NOT my car!

I've been charged with the task of getting it back on the road again. It doesn't take an expert to realise that it's a bit shagged.

Image

When I sat in it, I heard a creaking sound-wonder what that was? :?

Aaah, I see.........

Image

The bodges that have been done to this car are criminal

It's layer upon layer of 1MM plate pigeon shitted into place, in fact, it's not even pigeon shit-canary shit more like!
I've cut the drivers floor and sill out, repaired the seat box and tacked in the floor and sill to try and stiffen the shell up a bit. Tomorrow I'll be bracing the shell some more so I can get the shell off the chassis.

Apologies for the poor quality photos, maybe I'll buy a new camera when I finish this ;)

christ on a trike!! you got your work cut out there spanners. That front number plate looks out of place - too good for the rest of the car. Did you say it had MOT?

Jeezus, you said it was borked but I didn't realise it was THAT bad. :o

There's nothing worse than having to remove someone else's bodges before you can start doing a proper job.

2CVnutter are you looking? This one's worse than yours!!!!!

Yeah! Green & White paint! WTF!

2CV Nutter - your car can be saved!! Save yer pennies, get it fixed & mot'd for when you pass! Or learn to weld, do it yerself, and make money doing others.

I tidied up a few loose ends on the drivers side this morning

With a home made C pillar repair section

And then moved onto the passenger side

He paid £100 quid the other year to have the N/S/R seatbelt mount repaired, money well spent?
