eastbourne, if your ever in chichester, pop in, ill be disopointed if you dont!

James I have not been that way since last spring, its a lovely city so have been meaning to visit again soon. I will let you know when we are passing. Likewise you are welcome over this way too, this time of year is nice, before all the tourists get here.

And pop into me in Polegate anytime :D

Are those recent pics at Cuckmere ?

The Blueberies and Cream are not my fav colours....but hey....they match the deckchairs and railings on Eastbourne Sea Front...and its great to see you having a load of fun in the car....well done on the MOT and hope to see you around

Thanks Sam, she does take a good picture. But like Joanna Lumley once you get close you realise how old she is ;)

James, I must have overtightend the filter last time I changed it. Looks like I'll have to get a strap for the next attempt.

Its not Cuckmere, but the River Ouse at Barcombe Mills just down river from Lewes. There is a little pub, some boats you can hire and nice walks along the river too. Only down point is NO picnics allowed near the pub

Blue & Cream were not on my original wish list, had never gone two tone before. But it has rather grown on me. If I'm honest, it could have been poo and vomit scheme, I probably would still have brought it. I just really wanted to get a 2CV. No regrets :)

Barcombe Mills .....just looked it up....dont know that...are we talking grid ref:

TQ 435146 ?

That is for the parking I think .....I am being sad.

Oh dear....now Mrs Squeeze wants a day there and yet another bloody boat trip to see sodding birds...a bit like no reason to go to Chichester...bloody boat trips and birds.....(unless I can sneak off to the pub with some mischief makers)

Anyway MrEastbourne....two things...

1) If there is a spare Joanna Lumley....
2) Where did you take your car for its MOT as mine is due and I thought you said you got a "Buy on Get one Free"....yep despite my pranking (do not change the "pr" for a "w") I genuinly have no legal 2CV from tommorrow as the Bamboo MOT runs out ....and I have forgot to register my MOT application on line !

So what news of this part time pampered garage queen? It has been a while since my last update on Olive. The only bit of pampering has been one wash and buff up of her blue tits, as the cream keeps on shining.

Bring her in from the cold then :D

Ok the Anchor Inn is up a very long and very narrow lane on the road between Uckfield and Lewes. More info here:
www.anchorinnandboating.co.uk
The boats (James get your wallet handy) are £6 per hour per person.
Its great fun, I recommend it.

MOT was £45 (10 working day free re-test) from MOTs 4 U
Unit 7, The Martlets
Diplocks Way, Hailsham, East Sussex BN27 3JF
01323 848 808

Good luck!

I think that would be a "spiffing" good idea.

I will find a straw hat, strawberries and cream are on me (Blueberries and Cream on MrEastbourne of course..).

We can sip a Pims or ten....I will bring wind up gramophone and some old 78s....

What a good idea....anyone up for this in the charmingness of our British summer ? Name a day my dear fellow James ?
