You have done a lot of hard work to get to that stage, but it's worth it later as the car will last a lot longer than Citroen intended it to.

It's not going that fast... only saturdays and sometimes even not whole saturdays. But there is progress!





underside is clean and nice black. Now I started insid the cab. I've been struggling to get all kit out. I started at the back:







One some places there was some rust under the kit. One one place I found water.... How bad quality...

It has been a long time ago since my last update... time flies when having fun







The body is ready for painting, as the doors, the engine hood, the trunk lid and the rear fenders. Only the front fenders are giving me a headache... I bought other, non-original, fenders as I was fed up with cleaning and rust. This was not a good idea as this fender does not fit very well.... I decided to fit the original fenders but that means that I had to take the steel brush in the hand again





And that is just wat have to be done before everything could be transported to my friend the painter. Ohw, I hardly can't wait

Now time for gearbox / engine cleaning:

Must be satisfying to get to this stage, it's going to be a nice car very soon.

It is! But still lot of things to do.

While the painter is doing his job, I'm cleaning the engine and gearbox, grind and spray the coolerhousing a.s.o. Probably change some seals on forehand. And when this is done, the seats needs to be 'overhauled'.
