Yesterday I drove it to Kaposvár , to the workshop for new MOT.
It runs very well, engine pickups very smoothly .
The mechanic who did the tests for MOT was very happy, he could take the van for a spin .
He is a very impressive man ( fat) , so he had some problems with the steering wheel, but he enjoyed every minute of the ride.
Thanks to Janez the engine runs top notch.
Now I have got an MOT for two years, but I did not know I can apply for a classic car MOT, which lasts for 5 years, so next time I will have the classic MOT, which is in Hungary only possible if the car is genuine original.

I'd be more worried if Janez hasn't got a pair of these lying around... ;)

Haha!
but aren't these little engines LOUD when they're run with just the manifold stubs?
I did some work on a 2CV engine fitted in a replica plane at the Yorkshire Air Museum a few years back and when it was fired up and given full throttle, everyone within earshot ( half a kilometre?) came over to that hangar to see what was going on... :)

I had the 12hp running on idle without exhaust. I sounded just like a Harley... ;-)

My engine sounds like music .
I might consider a heavy metal-band with the engine as a sort of solo-guitar .
8-)
