At last , the engine runs like it should !
So , when the weather changes and the salt is of the roads , I'll make an appointment for MOT inspection.

That is fantastic. I bet you are happy. :D

I hope the Dutch MOT is as tough as the French one

Can't wait to start mine at the end of the summer, so wait for the barrage of questions :?:

The AZU at the local garage for APK ( MOT) .After the first time on the road after restoration we made it to the garage .
Where they parked it in the showroom .
According to the mecanics working there it has a lot of attention of several costumers and passers-by.

It looks great - it is alway a heart stopping moment at the MOT garage.

It must have passed though as it is perfect.

Not yet!
The people of the garage want to keep it ;)
There is a mechanic who used to work for a Citroen dealer before he started to work for this garage .
Now he is a pensioner, but still working in that garage for a few hours a week.
And he is doing the MOT inspection.

It failed MOT

There was too much clearance for the LH kingpin, and ( I did not know there should be) there were no dustcovers over the steeringrod-end-levers.

So I am going to get it back from the garage ( when the snow and salt have vanished ) and i will solve the problem. :)

This kingpin is the one i did not replace, the other one had much more clearance, and i really thought this side was in oke. :(

That is being a bit picky - sure the retired citroen mechanic is still qualified.

But at least it is not too bad and you can sort it quick.
