I think that's good news that you have found extra work, it might not go so quickly but with no job you wouldn't have a restoration at all. I'm sure you will find time for your van project now and again, and it will probably be even more enjoyable to escape the increased pressure of work.

The suspension-arm is fixed to the chassis again, and now we'll continue welding the body.
My son had some sparetime last week and was welding on the body as the gas run out.
So next monday I have a day of work and I will get some new gas to carry on.
I would like to do the welding myself, but my son is better in this job so I leave it up to him, although I sometimes think he is too accurate .

The past few months I have been welding on the body.
Unfortunately, the camera's battery is empty, so no recent pictures today.
I have welded almost all the holes , removed and re-welded the spare wheel mount. Replaced the reinforcements near the ram rubbers, the mount of the tank and replaced a piece of the dashboard where the handbrake lever is fixed
I also found some rotten pieces in the inner rear fenders, which I have removed and welded new plate.
Unfortunately I have not much time now, and my son is too busy with his Mazda, so progress is slow.
I try to spend a few houres on the car every weekend .
I try to post a few more pictures soon.

Picture from a week or so ago.

I am waiting for a lower rear crossmemberbox I ordered from 2cvkeza .
Hopefully it will arrive before winter comes.

Last friday Janez's parcel arrived !
Everything fits very well . I hope I'll be able to weld things to the van soon.
Today I managed to weld the bumpers to the crossmember box and weld the two parts together.
Here are some pictures of the fittings before welding:

Looks like Christmas arrived late there! Lovely looking bit of sheet metalwork.

It's beginning to look like a van again. Great progress! :)
