Took advantage of Spanners and the trailer yesterday. Collected this lovely 40 year old girl and named her Freja (AK 350). We had great times collecting and seeing Bretagne. Thanks Spanners

That is GORGEOUS! looks like it was a bit of a bargain. Is that the original owner in the 2nd picture down?

Yes the old man bought it new in 1970, drove it around Bretagne. Only done 97.000 but crank shaft is very noisy (bearing) The man was clearly sad to see the AK go but we all agree that he expressed some joy of his van going to a good place. Freja will not be touched (restored) except new floors for CT.

Very happy man today (like many other days). Finally after too long a time period, Freja went through Controle Technique today with flying colors. Been so busy looking after so many cars except my own. Time to smile and to enjoy my first AK 350. I'm in love again. :mrgreen:
Freja will be kept with her lovlely patina including all rust. However had to fit new floors and pedal floor.
