S I have a new 2CV to replace Betty with lots of thanks going to Spanners, this one will be taking Scott and I travelling next year as Betty is now in 2CV heaven :)

We have named him Casper (I think it’s a boy car) hope Jon doesn’t mind the name too much :) ! So as I’m at work I’m going to use previous thread to introduce him….

Here's the thread from when Spanners took it on;

Drove home Saturday runs really well, and good to drive, Sunday afternoon went to drive back to mine and he wouldn’t start :( 'Harryyyyy my car won’t start’ so after some coil swapping and still nothing it was towed home where Harry, Dad and Steve Page fixed it – dodgy connection going into the points all sorted and now running again! Even heated up within 5 minutes this morning so my feet were nice and toasty :)

Thanks again Spanners for letting me buy the car, and to mum and dad for being my taxi and taking me to have a look round and buy it :)

It looks a very nice example, good luck with it. (it's better than an Allegro ;) )

Is this a "wrong Louise" moment? And yes, I conceed I am the "wrong Louise" in this case because I replaced a 2cv with an Allegro! :D

Nice to see you found a suitable replcaement for Betty, Louise, hope all goes well on your adventures!
