Post Re: Odin
Finished all 4 swing arm bearings, cleaned and greased up. Fitted both spring pots and connected all tie rods, end eyes and knife edges. Clips secured with wire so I won't loose them on the raid if going through high grass or bushes.

Moving on to the steering

Track rod end housing and steering arm ball joints dry as bone + some minor chips to file away. Cleaned, greased and fitted again with new boots.

Finished the rack today. When time comes, I'll do a proper steering rack over haul. This will do for now

Removing the guide ring manily due to too much play between the ring and the guide. New ring is fitted tested inside the guide making sure it does not bite on the guide moving it from side to side

Body work, gives me a break from the mechanics

Not much need for text here, photos says it all.
Would like to ask is the rear cross box is available. If yes, great, please PM a price to France + postage.
Cheers Viking

Not so much a question as an observation, sorry! It all looks so clean (even some of the stuff you are replacing)! Everything on my cars have been covered in cack and dirt! The photos above just look so shiney! Very nice :)

Oh I see. No no everything is very dirty, just cleaning a bit before putting everything back together. Sometimes I clean before stripping as I can't see a bloody thing.
