 Odin
It is time to put Odin back on the road. He was put away 18 month ago and never found time to do my own cars. Odin will be my Raid Van for Africa next July and Christmas is now organized. This year will be with family in Denmark so Odin will be tested on the 1800 km each way. He needs new pedal floors inside and outside, new floors and sills, rear left side panel, panel behind the sparewheel, panel under rear doors + all the other bits I find along the way. Gear box will be replaced with a completely rebuilt AK 400 box or maybe Acadiane, not sure yet. Engine also rebuilt with brand new crankshaft, new piston barrel set 9.0: 1 compression ratio and so on. Should be finished at Christmas. I will upload pictures of work in progess Attachment:

 Re: Odin
Gear box (low speed 2cv 4 box) out. No wonder the Odin was pulling heavy to one side when hitting the brakes. Both drums KAPUT. Childs play removing the steering column. No hammering or silly wedges getting the column off the pinion no mater how much rust. Attachment:

 Re: Odin
Didn't do much today or yesterday. Got the body off, wanted to look for the usual rust chassis problems. Sure enough the top plate is buggered as I suspected. So open Sesame open the chassis for further looks. Hopefully not much to report but you'll never know. The side rails are straight, happy with that. The rest is visible from 10 meters away. The tank doesn't look too good, time will tell. Attachment:

 Re: Odin
Chassis saved in time. Funny how every chassis I open, the inside is home to the local ''little people'' Attachment:

I look forwards to seeing this in the flesh in just 2 weeks. Although, I guess it'll be nearly finished by then? Another one saved in the meantime, nice one.

I'm sure we can help though once Mrs Spanners and I have done a bit of sight seeing.
