My parents bought Joyce for me for £150 just after my 17th birthday, and she needs a lot doing to make her roadworthy Her last tax disc ran out on the 31st March 1993, so just under two months before I was even born, and she'd been stationary up until a couple of years ago when Rob Clark found her on freecycle, and intended to restore her. Unfortunately his ill-health stopped it, and she was left to sit once again, until she was offered to my dad at this year's London to Brighton Once we got her home, we assessed what needed doing, and decided on "a lot" so my dad is sorting out the mechanical side of it (hopefully) and ordered a shitload of parts from ECAS this morning. ![]() |

It's structurally OK, apart from some holes in the floor, I mean, at the International, I was poking around George's beigemobile, and the bodywork on Joyce is a lot better (sorry George). It's just cause she hasn't been run for 17 years, we have no idea what shape the engine is in, but my dad is onto it ![]() |

A car like that could tempt me into Dyane ownership, I think it looks great. |

Oh she is lovely! I was convinced I wanted a 2CV, but now I wouldn't want anything else. All I need now is for her to be on the road, and a driving license |
