Avo shocks are adjustable aren't they? Why drill them out?

Re previous post The ami shocks have a 14mm sleeve/bolt whereas the 2cv/dyane is 12mm
so would have to drill them out to fit!!
And according to some dutch guy I need to Front Avo shocks......Unless I get e reply from Sparrowjunior about those GAZ ones he was on about!!??

As for the colour suggestion I think I'm sold...

Apologies, when you said drilled out I assumed you meant drill a hole in the top and refill with thicker oil.

Unfortunately not yet!!

The beast is outside as the garage is so full of shit and stuff I can't get the car in and have nowhere else to put the shit and stuff!!!...So the beast is sitting outside at the moment...And the weather up ere hasn't been particularly clever recently so haven't had anytime on it this week...
Hope to get a few hours on it this weekend weather pending!!

when you do have it running will you be using the exhaust that was on it?

Pete Sparrow made the set up for the owner after spanners (luke, his name was) its a great fit and not too bad to fit, BUT its easier to do if the gearbox and engine are'nt bolted into the car, otherwise its a very much pig of a job involving swearing and bleeding.

Great job so far though Matt, how long have you and i been talking sidewinders on and off? gotta be 10 years later now and its all coming together :) :)

I've just read all the posts about paint jobs on the last page. I have to say I'd just leave it in that faded blue, it looks great. :)
