I have a small update, have taken the flywheel to get machined only taking about 4-5 mm off the clutch plate side, the guy was reluctant to remove much more for safety reasons!!

But as long as it solves the problem and takes a few grams off at the same time I'll be happy...

It's been so long I can't actually remember if I've done anything else since last posting :(

I think I put the flywheel back in put the engine back in AGAIN!!! And put the battery on charge as it had gone flat...!!

It's now nearly the middle of April and I can categorically say if out hesitation that it ain't going anywhere for a while!!
I will however be attending the national in May with me boy but not in the Dyane...

No you didn't... If you had sold it then you would have failed..
I hope you still have that dream... Driving your own sidewinder.....
As long as you have it you don't fail, it just takes longer as you want....

No go follow that dream... (I hope)

Geo..

As the post above says the beast is on ebay right now..I don't really want to sell but I'm realistically never going to get it finished... I would rather swap for a standard well normal engined Dyane instead if anyone has one... Before anyone says put a normal one in this, I would rather keep as is and get someone else to finish it off...

If anyone is interested I've put a link in below...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-Dyane ... 1867617150?

Might have to Copy and paste if it doesn't work.....!!!

Well I think some of you knew that I had sold the Dyane to some fella down the country a couple of weeks ago....

It turns out that on a slight technically he's bringing it back on Wednesday...

It's a bit of a long winded story but basically because it's registered as an Ami not a Dyane he doesn't want it anymore, although I told him it was built using an Ami Chassis and that's the number plate/ID it took on...and he never checked the V5 when he filled it in and signed it, it was my fault for not telling him....but anyway secretly I didn't really want to sell it.....And Now....
It's then going to be in the capable hands of Alan at Citwins hopefully by the weekend and he can work his magic on it... So it looks like I'm eventually going to get there (albeit with a little help)

So fingers crossed, I know I'm jumping the gun abit but I should be at a major event in it next summer... :D

Happy days...
