I'm sure it will turn a few French heads!! Im sure they'll whip out their white flags quicker than they can eat a plate of frogs legs. That's my racist remark for the day.

Re: Sudo Kubel
I've had it in mind to call back and see how this turned out - quite well as it happens. My hat's off to you for your undoubted skills Tony, you seem to have nailed it. A couple of questions.
1/ Although the fake ribbing looks correct it won't give any structural stiffening to the panels, is that ok? (yes I know you aren't gonna' invade Poland in it so it might be fine)
2/ The paint. That's for the Normandy theatre isn't it? There would have been 'lost' or misty edges on the German cammo, yours seem to sharply defined.
Neither of those are criticisms by the way, just observations. I think you have done an amazing job - well done.

Re: Sudo Kubel
Thanks Old Nail, glad you like it, im over the moon with it. I got to drive it around the farm where it is stored and it was just plain fantastic, i couldnt stop smiling the whole time. The camo is Normandie and although it may look like it from my photos, it has been dusted on with spray cans i had made up to the correct colours. The 'ribbing' does stiffen up the panels quite a lot, but dont forget that my panels are built over a box section space frame where as the the genuine kubel was purely made from pressed steel panels on a vw beetle style floor pan. The cars rigidity is superb and it sounds loike a drum if you bang the panels with your hand. Its off for new kingpins tommorow and then for MOT so hopefully by the end of the week it'll be finally on the road. I'll post some more photos when its finished, as there have been a few more things done since the last ones were taken .

Re: Sudo Kubel
Well Guys here it is. All finished, painted, MOT'd, taxed and insured and ready to go. The only thing that i'm waiting for at the moment is some bigger carb jets as i'm using a K&N filter and its sucking in too much air too fuel ratio at the moment. If ECAS get their arses in gear, they should be here in the next day or two and i should have them fitted ready for World Meeting. Anyway, its fantastic to drive and it gets looks everywhere i go in it, so at the moment i'm a happy man. See you in Salbri (i hope)
