Thought you might like to see some before shots of my impetuous ebay purchase.
No tax or MOT but it 'drives' ( that is to say it starts - instantly ! / goes / stops )
Apparently Original chassis which seems to be sound ! - a few original invoices of annual Citroen 'rust proofing', no nasty bulges, dents or layers of suspicious bitumen / fibreglass / paint etc.
Holes in floor by seat runners, Boot floor hanging on by will power alone + boot hinge (almost) rusted shut. Vent flap holed. Roof no holes but colour all gone. 1 x leaking shock absorber. Sills and pillars sound. Exhaust ok, Oil looks and smells ok, idles smoothly. Dented wings - already bashed these out a bit (looks better already). Upholstery largely disintegrated. Four goodish tyres + electrics all seem to work.
The idea is to get her roadworthy rather than a show winning restoration and enjoy driving it!
Doubtless there will be various nasty discoveries to be made along the way. May be some one here has seen her before ?
