looking amazing, when you see the top, i understand what you mean

but youve done an amazing job!!

ive sealed my windscreen with proper windscreen sealent, which is about 8 quid a tube, which some one on here put me onto, and its worked a treat, if i were you, id be tempted to do the sealent after youve put the windscreen in but straight away, then future rotting will not be an option, i found it easy to do mine when it was in, just need 4 pairs of hands, and patience. it was well worth it, as i used to be able to watch the water drain into the seal, well very slowly, now it sits there and doesnt move down the seal at all, i did it both sides of the seal, top and bottom just to be safe! and the stuff was 3m / m3 windscreen sealent, bought from my local tool shop! its a bugger to get off paintwork etc but as i was advised wd-40 worked a treat!

if you want any more tips about sealing it feel free to ask, as it went swimmingly well and it hasnt caused me a problem. no future rot :D

also rear quarter lights i greased them heavily when i sorted out the rust there, so no more rust there for a while, and i used wd-40 on seal so it slipped into slot easier!

anyway nice work :D

That wasn't my workshop or tools though. Or my car.

WD40 makes the rubber expand doesn't it? I always thought it wasn't the stuff to use. Likewise with washing-up liquid, because of the high salt content.
