Introducing my 4x4 2CV which may not need much introduction to many of you as its been to just a few meetings and was driven by Kate Humble on Top Gear.

Built in 1988 the Yellow peril was trialled at AWDC events and cane 1st and 2nd on some occasions.

In 2004 and 2009 we fitted spiked tyres and went North to the Arctic Circle and the 4x4 proved itself not only for pulling 2Cvs out of the snow but also for having fun at traffic lights.

So there you are in Norway first in a queue, on ice at lights. Alongside comes Golf GIT and looks over with some distaste. Silently engage 4x4 raise engine revs to get required rev response from Golf. Wait.... Green... Drop clutch and watch Golf scrabble for grip in the rear view mirror.

I'll add some more pics soon and see you in Czech...

They have knobs in Golf GITs in Norway as well then? Thought it was purely a British phenomenon...You learn something new every day. ;)

I think you get them everywhere. Didn't come across many in Norway but then it has to be said that unless you were in a bit town there were not that many cars around.

There used to be one in Port Stanley, Falklands. In a place where everyone else drives Landrovers in order to get any further than the town limits, this chopper used to scream up and down the few metres of tarmaced road that the town has to offer, racing...

.. himself

Aha a comfy chair I should have guessed! What kind of car was it from, looks kinda narrow like a 2cv seat, fits better in the space than the gs/cx front sofas I have, but is it as comfy?
