Nearly 2 years since i updated this

I basically havent used the car this last year. Why? (Feel free not to bother reading, a fairly in depthy ramble about my difficulties!!)

2014 started of great, bought a house with the mrs of nearly 6 years, set to move in in april, had an interview with rolls-royce that went extremely well, made over 2k on a boat i did up.............

April came, moved into the house, took two weeks off in busy period at work, spent a fortune kitting out the garage, then 11 days later the now ex mrs fucked off home to her parents.. Im not an arsehole, just someone else had taken her fancy but she neglected to mention this during the house purchase, waited for our families to spend thousands and then come clean! No word of a lie. Amazing right!!!!

By this point, it was the end of april, fast forward three weeks, (in short) i had a knock on the door from the police to tell me one of my very close friends (who i worked with and was older so had few family) had committed suicide and i was executer of her will etc etc, then a fortnight later i motivated myself for an mot of the 2cv.. 3 fails later it was through.. (And some money!) meanwhile i was living in thr house on my own, which i loved! Slowly having possesions taken from under me by their family, one point i had 2 bedside tables with no bed in the middle!!

July came and i moved back in with the mother, and it felt just like what i imagine having your home repossed feels like.. All the equipment i bought for the garage was on ebay, a lot ended up given away so all my hard work with the boat went to nothing, and i moved all my junk into an over priced storage container!

Having dealt with suicide, infedlity, and 2 house moves in the soace of 3 months i was pretty sick. I then got a phone call from rolls to invite me for an interview in the leathershop. I explained i had applied for assembly, but never heard back despite a succesful interview, she was suprised and said she would phone me back! Nothing! So phoned her next day, again another promise which she didnt fufil! And 2 days later a email saying i hadnt got it!

An inside source of mine said theyd reduced the number they where taking on from 16 to two, and one of the two's dad worked there and the other worked for maclaren! So that was a massive knock!!

you can imagine my general enthusiasum was not good

My 2cv ended up in a friends garage, if i want to use it it involves going over, making tea and talking about the weather and at least an hour of faff before incan get the car

Its free storage but makes it not a 5 min job!!

Ive rambled, but this is why i have been quiet, and my 2cv remains unused..

Ive picked myself up again but its not been easy in anyway shape or form!

Hopefully 2015 will be better, although i lost another friend 2 weeks ago, !!

Life's a bitch sometimes. Your always welcome to come down the boat for beer or coffee or whatever, or come by the house if you're over our way - van building is a gogo!
Fingers crossed for a better year mate!!

It works for me :-D
