i got fed up of wipers and was playing around with the wiring and pulled one wire off and wherever i turn them off they turn off and stay where they are, would rather park them properly though,

do the wipers always stop in the same place and wont return?

what i meant by the fame was the black part that its all mounted to mine bent where the spindles attach so it stopped and would not return but if you've fixed it without touching that then its not that :)

basically

dunno if i made it clear

the wipers parked on the right hand side in the line of my vision when driving, which irritated me alot

i got fed up of this after a while so tried adjusting the parking following the haynes manual, failed dismally twice, i was then testing what wire did what on the back to see if i could over ride it so that i could control whereever they stopped to my leisure, and by accident realised if you take the wire no the right off, its a wight wire, theres 3 wires to the switch on the ctrl panel, next to the hazard switch, then where ever you turn the wipers off they stop immediatly,

im assuming this by passed the relay....
but im not an expert but it worked for the time being,

and now that my wipers park on the left ive re connected that wire and now when i turn the wipers off theyll continue to there parking place

if that makes sense...

and i see what you mean now, no its not bent just bloody rusty and that plastic crap is flaking badly!

may have to make one up out of stainless, would look rather good me thinks!

James, how old are you? Are you driving yet, or are you prepping your car for when you get your licence?
