My 1971 Ami 8 Club. Bought off EBay by some nutters then left in a field. Sold to me later by text and it arrived home the weekend before the Swedish World Meeting. Plenty of work has happened to make it solid including body off and new floors etc. Took it to the French National 2008 as well as Rochefort 2008. Its a joy to drive on the motorways. As with most of my cars its not finished!   Heading for Rochefort  Arrived on the site

Look after it Timmy - Derby's down an Ami now Jason's stuffed his into the back of a Clio, and it caught fire/exploded last night! |

its hidden for winter... this was taken on the way to the MOT station... careful running in after so long off the road.

after putting the ami in my folks garage in the october school hols today i decided it was time to say hello, fit its christmas fuel pump and check its still happy! pump change in about 10 mins then turned it over (still juice luckily in the battery) fuel came through and it fired up! after about 30 seconds i pushed the choke home and let it idle happily and smoke free! Will take it out for a hoon when there isnt 5 other cars blocking it in. happy bunny!

Reeeeezult!  Gotta be happy with that, TIMMY! Hope it's well rust proofed - there seems to be more gritters around this year than ever before...
