Re: Rusty's cars (custom Pick-up) Haven't had time to do anything on my PU, planned to do it this weekend, but decided to fix my normal 2CV for th WM. some pics: saturday morning approx 9 o clock:     takin the thing apart (by 12 the body was off):  crusty parts:     piece out:  piece in (had a piece of good c pillar) :  an other piece:  My dad has been working on the rear, almost everything will be exchanged spare wheel holder/tray/?? and the lightmounting bit greetzzzzzzzzzzzz

It takes a lot more than just practical skill to do what you are doing - you need to have a 'eye' for how it's going to turn out, for it to look balanced and right (witness all the shockingly bad attempts at 2CV customising on eBay...). And your pick-up does look right.
How do you plan this - do you make sketches beforehand?
