Post Rusty's cars (custom Pick-up - tuned dyane)
Hi there,

I'm Rusty from Holland, tried to register before but didn't succeed then and forgot trying later...... On the dutch 2cv forum came a request to register here as well, the more enthousiasts the more joy and info!

I own several 2cv's see list below:

2CV6 club, 1987, Rouge Vallelunga, good condition, just some nasty rustspots that need attention this car is in original state except for front seats.

ACAdiane, 1983, Blanc Meye, good condition, also some nasty rustspots, this one has a (fast) Visaengine (42 Hp) in it. also I put a simple camperinterior in it.

2CV... Pick-up, this is a special one, still working on it (since 2005)... It has a ACAdiane chassis (that's a bit longer than standard) It has a custom dash, doorpanels, cab, pu bed, bonnet, front bumper e.t.c. It will have a tuned visa engine (I hope to get about 50-55 Hp out of it) AMI Super gearbox, AMI super stabilisters front and rear, Beetle rims with 155 tyres in front, 185 at the back. and then I probably forgot some things..
here is a link to a Dutch website with some of the pics:
edit: see pics in next post :) link didn't work....

I also have an other 2cv6 in parts, an aks400 body and chassis (no other parts) AMI 8 chassis. and lots of parts!

for daily use I have a 1982 CX 2500 D Break :)

I'll keep you guys updated, if I'll have time for it, this is the 5th 2cv/citroenforum for me.....

greetzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Rusty

Welcome Rusty :)

The pick up sounds really interesting, sadly I couldn't see the pictures as I don't have a log in for the 2cvkitcar forum, any chance you could post some here using the 'add file' bit at the bottom of the reply page?

nope not really, still in doubt.. but it is goin to be a classic colour for sure, it may be a classic 2cv/ citroën colour, old 60's red, white, brown, I just don't know yet....

jep, my dad got a body long ago of a clubmember of the 7 club Holland. My dad owns a 7 ruby '37 as well.

this body was really far gone, about the lower 20 cm were completely rotten, so we decided to give some parts a second life!

my dad also owns a '32 Citroën AC4f, a '75 Triumph Spitfire (probably for sale next spring) and a '31 Aero 10 (500 cc single cilinder 2 stroke :) ) and a '78 MB 508 camper van
so the tinkering to cars doesn't come from a stranger.

greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
