Congrats with your turbo setup. Doing 3000+ km without trouble.....chapeau.
I think fuel consumption is good for a turbo 2cv.....

A brandnew Fiat Panda turbo drives much worse then your configuration (I drove one as a rentacar for my work)......

Thanks.
Since I changed the spring in the carb (back at the hotel in SPA) it drives great. Now when change gear there is less delay as the turbo helps to pull earlier (especially between 3 and 4th gear)

Forgot about these photos - Shrine to 2CV in church near Troyes (France)
2cv rocker cover ????? :)

Also rigged up simple (not pretty) heater on the car - tissue test at windscreen showed I had plenty of air coming in with just 1 pipe

Every 2cv has only 1 pipe directed to the (front) screen.....

Had some time this morning to work out the distance etc I have done since fitting turbo - Total 6292kms at an average 11.33kms per litre of fuel. Engine without turbo used to do around 16kms per litre.
Done nothing to set up since got 1-2 spark- just driving it around. I would love to get it on rolling road to see what it has under the bonnet but on a gut feeling I would say around 44-46 bhp.

Today on a road I have driven a thousand times or more decided to make a little video. Just wanted to show how normal life with turbo 2cv is - no flat spots - no back fires etc... Not giving it full throttle until steep 25% hill after junction.

Had some spare time this afternoon so decided to alter the exhaust. Before - from turbo to half front cross box (other entry port blocked off) and then pipe to outside of car. Tried - from turbo to outside of car with no silencer (as per Geo's turbo) but too noisy - would have French police stopping me. New - from turbo to outside of car with original side silencer and Mehari type small pipe near back wheel. Took it for a drive and it is smoother than before and more torque and quieter. So win/win all around. :) :) :)
