Looking good! Our vans are exactly the same. Under the (myosotis?) my van is even the same colour as yours.

Question: your engine, is it an original 602 that has been in the van from new?

It is the original 435.
AU and AZU-A had 425 engines, AZU-B 435 and AK 602 ( if I am not mistaken.).
The colour is AC 639 Blue Lagune and this colour was used for AZU in 1974 .

I like your van, you still have a long way to go, but believe me : IT IS FUN!

I probably will be in Hagley next year October with my van.... maybe we could meet !

Geert, that would be great to meet up! Who knows, by next October I might have reached the point where I can put the engine back into my van! You can come and help me finish the project, or help me troubleshoot what I've done wrong! :D

You're right about the project being FUN. I'm loving it, although I wish I could have more time to spend on it.

Now this is done I hope the engine runs after the overhaul i did last winter, so I can complete the front of the van and go for the MOT ( APK).
