 Re: Van repairs
The farmer got rid of them because of the TB. and we can't get anyone else to put their animals on. The trouble with sheep is that they eat everything if you're not careful. We might have to get some though . Van is going well, you've just got to be patient...very patient .

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-AZU- ... SwG4ZddR5JNot sure I really want to do this and am secretly hoping it won't reach it's reserve but I just can't keep all these A series and need to fund the Dyane.

 Re: Van repairs
Rob, Hang on to the flamer, I feel you may regret it when it's gone.

 Re: Van repairs
Skip the Dyane. Put a 602 (M4) in your van and thats it.. Seeing all the gear you have at your pictures you deffinitly need a van and not a Dyane..

 Re: Van repairs
Some of the questions I'm getting from bidders makes me regret listing the Flamer the trouble is lads, that I just don't have the space to keep them all. I agree though that I should have probably not have bought the Dyane, should have sold the Charleston and re-engined the van...no sun roof then though Terrible these First World problems aren't they

 Re: Van repairs
P1020644 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Mike and Tony loading up at 8.00 am this morning, sent to pick it up by the new owner, a hovercraft pilot from the Isle of Wight. I must admit I was sad to see it go, but Daisy reminded me that I should be proud to have resurrected it. The owner says it's going to be fully restored to 'as new' condition still, we all knew it best as it was and is now . Luckily to fill the vacuum I've got this flamin Dyane to sort out, I'll try and do a good job .

 Re: Van repairs
The new owner kindly gave me an update. "Dear Robert, merry Christmas and new year. All going well, taking time to defeat the rust which of course destroyed all these cars. As in those days the paints were excellent but only used to a minimum, so takes time to thoroughly clean, degrease, then panel wipe every nut, bolt, washer, panel, then spray all with acid etch. Then primer. I am a firm believer in A4 grade stainless steel for all washers, nuts, bolts, The whole unit was sand blasted. Engine and gearbox cleaned and painted. With high temperature paint. On the chassis acid etch and epoxy 2k primer then Shultz stone chip and waxoil black. Engine sump guard replaced with 3 mm stainless steel. Rgds Paul" 902f91de-6e63-4f4b-830b-3abec0076ea5 by Robndaisy, on Flickr 2e667dec-54eb-4d9f-bdbe-659ddeb0b2c1 by Robndaisy, on Flickr 08602069-4d88-4f6d-9f73-353b85645bae by Robndaisy, on Flickr So there we go, I was happy to bring it back to a rough/useable condition and Paul is happy to go to the next stage. The important thing is that the van survives .
