 Re: Spunkbucket
Agree with the above sentiments on Scotchlocks! Heatshrink sounds like the way forward to me, although a bit of insulation tape would probably do the job perfectly well, to be honest!
Is your towbar worth having?

 Re: Spunkbucket
If you want it, it's yours!
I've made my top seat belt mounts but I haven't taken a picture because the car's back in my garage full of stuff from work. This evening it broke the steering arm which I didn't change yesterday. No other damage despite me going like the clappers when it broke. No damage, that is, aside from the hole in my underpants which my arse made when it snapped shut.
I've changed it now but ideally would like to have a couple of days where something doesn't break or fall off it.

Also, I managed to get fifty copper street lamps in it earlier. I am rather enjoying 2cv ownership again, been too long since I've had one.

Yes, please! Might be able to organise it coming northwards with Mr Fieldmouse at some point? No particular rush, as the car is now in bits spread across the garden! Would be interested to see your seatbelt mounts when you get a picture.

Us aussies appreciate you keeping this an international forum Russ and posting your pics up the correct way up for us, it's so bloody difficult trying to post a reply with the laptop upside down...

 Re: Spunkbucket
When I attatch the pictures on either my ipod or iPad they display the right way up, but when viewed on anything else theyre the wrong way up, so I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I really should put some batteries in my camera so I can post better pictures.
