 Re: 1979 Dyane
If you paint the sills in the car's color, it will instantly look 5 cm lower without turning a screw! And it will look better, black sills make the proportions all wrong, in my humble opinion

I know you didn't ask, but with hubcaps looks best on your car.

 Re: 1979 Dyane
Well finaly got brakes sorted! this is my old disc on the left at my new one on the right my old pads compared to new ones, the old pads where actually coming apart from the metal base! also thought id spruce the engine so heres my gearbox caked in grease and oil and here is hours worth of rubbing it with petrol, good as brand new gave the oil sump a good clean too, as my dad works at a sheet metal company hes gonna try and get a stainless steel plate made to replace the old grubby one that protects the sump heres the end product new discs and pads plus all the calipers washed, although while my dad was looking at the calipers he pushed down on something and brake fluid squirted all up his face and eye ! luckily it didnt go in his eye so once we knew he was safe we all laughed at him p.s. make sure YOUR engine is clean or you have gloves as are hands where thick in grease and oil and iv still got black finger nails
