Upset local lad today in his Halfords (if in UK) special Corsa 1.2 litre. He cut across the front of me on a roundabout and him and his friend laughed at the slow A series until that car flew past him straight afterwards and left him looking stupid........ Car is lovely to drive along B type roads and it keeps up with traffic and I am not looking at a French guy or lady stuck to my back bumper.

Been planning my trip to Spa and it is getting bigger all the time. Never been to Brugge so going there first and afterwards across via Lux to Germany for route 500 and down to Swiss boarder for castle (the one Disney used as model for his) and then back home. The route shown uses lots of motorways so it will alter from that but overnight stays will be the same..

Photos of the 1 - 2 spark installed. I drilled the flywheel @45 deg before TDC and threaded 6mm (non stainless bolt). The flywheel sensor is mounted on the LH side of the starter motor (hard to take photo) (looking from the front). Just connected the wires up and hey presto car works great. I have kept the 123 ignition just incase and it takes 2 minutes to swap over (not that I think I will ever need it.

When it works like it looks it will be very good.

•52mm (2 1/16 inch) black face with magnified lens
•10 - 20 AFR Analog Readout
•Digital 12 volt Wideband Controller Unit
•Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband Oxygen Sensor
•13 ft. Sensor Wire Harness
•16 ft. Control Unit to Gauge Wire Harness
•5 ft. Power Wire Harness
•Weld- In Sensor Bung
•Mounting and Installation hardware
• 1 Year Warranty & Free Technical Support

LSU 4.9 is the newest(and best (from Bosch)) so this is good, probably you don't need to calibrate this one....... I've put mine 10 cm behind the turbo, thats were it sits in a original Smart too just behind the turbo... Make it point upwards so that condensed water can drip of when condensating (I hope you understand)

When you have injection (megasquirt or others you need 1 wire to the ECU so that the Ecu can regulate the fuel when to rich or to lean (closed loop) or only mesure (open loop) but with your carburator you don;t need this.....

I knew car would hit rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd gear easily so today made excuss with misses to go along motorway to local town. Photo shows flat - route national N84 crusing at around 105/110 kph and floared it and hey presto it hits rev limiter of 6500 rpm in 4th.
