Re: Rusty's cars (custom Pick-up - tuned dyane)
drove some time with the double carbs but wasn't able to get them adjusted right. first I used an open air filter system, that went resonably ok. but to much noise (must be getting old...) and fuel was blown back trough the airfilter at certain rpm's, so petrol smell all the time.
so decided to make a closed filterbox with turbo tube, but adjusting them was impossible, the fuel was blown back in the floaterbowl by the airpressue of the turbotube and still fuel was blown back trough the airfilter at certain rpm's, and because I made a sump ventilation with backflow to the sump petrol got in there that would get in the engine oil...
I tried to place the carbs on short stumps, bur the inner fender was in the way

and a dyane already has more space over there then a normal 2CV (where this engine is meant for)
so, I went back to original carb for now, seems to be quite drive able, just need to play a bit with the carb jets. but for sure it has less torque and less HP, won't be able to cruise @130 kph anymore...
probably will go and play with the other carbs again
