 Re: AZL 1957
It was dry this afternoon, i did replace the roof in 15 minutes. It was one with inner clips i had to put in first. So i have time to clean and reimpregnate the other roof.

 Re: AZL 1957
this morning -4 degrees, car covered in snow. Contact a pull on starter and choke. And running almost instantly. Nice for such an old 6 volt beast.

 Re: AZL 1957
A lot of trouble lately. If it is going to rev up for a while the car starts having misfires. It isn't getting enough petrol. First i did take apart fuelpump and carb. No change, than i put in a new carb and pump. It helped for one day....grrrr. Than i took the tank filter out it was very dirty. After cleaning i noticed there was a vacuum in the tank, the filler cap didn't have an air hole. So replace that. Car went fine again....for one day. So i did put in an bypass fuel line i suspected the old steel one. Car did run very fine and fast again....for one day. So i took the tankfilter out again it was a bit dirty. When i touched the rubber hoses in fuelline i did see bubbles going in the direction of the tank. So there must be air coming in. I think the hoses are to old. On high revs they vibrate so that air can come in??? But due to the carnival overhere all shops are closed till tomorrow...having an other go then.

 Re: AZL 1957
Good luck , I hope this will be solved soon, as it is your daily car ! The fuelline could be the problem, these rubber connections are old and brittle.

 Re: AZL 1957
I drove to the auto parts shop, no problems, on the way back it started to have misfires again..... So now i did have all rubber hoses replaced and all fitted with clamps. I wonder how long it works now... I did see the fuel coming much faster through the transparent bit of the fuelline though.
