Plod I can live with as long as I can present the certificate and I must have managed to Tax it as the tax runs out at the end of Feb which means I must have taxed it at the end of August. If the certificate does exist (which i'm sure it does for all the above reasons) then I'll just take to carrying it around to present if I'm ANPR'd.

Found it! phew. Jono's memory is better than mine. Going to annoy my neighbours in a bit and fire the Dyane up and drive to Alex's in Calverley, probably waking up Scott Calvert (Ray Calverts son) up in the process! mwahaha.

That's a very real possibility, "oh look Pete hasn't had enough to deal with, lets raise his blood pressure"

Bloody snow... Firestones and snow don't mix very well

Turns out my trolley jack won't lift the rear enough to change a rear wheel so I thought I'd try the Citroën jack... It only went and cracked off a chunk of bloody floor! Argh. Looks like a previous repair held on with good will, rust and waxoil :-(

Depends where you put it...

Try under the rear suspension can/damper mount, instead of the axle arm bolts.

Not quite, another three inches or so maybe. The wooden block slid off the chassis to towards the middle of the car. Am going to have to nurse it back to Rotherham from Sheffield with a split Michelin. I've got a pair of Toyo's en route from ECAS due to arrive on Wednesday so I just need to get it home and back out to a tyre garage.

Sheffield?! What am I talking about? I'm in Leeds, not far from the airport.
