 Re: The Dirty 'D'
Well i have had a week off after the Volksworld show and half killing myself getting everything done!! i timed the weather perfect and have been rocking around with the roof back all of the time!!! heaters still on well i am almost 40... I have done almost 6000 miles since getting the 'D' on the road and have loved every second of it ( apart from the two times it would not start) in damp weather (Cornwall) the timing has been knocked back so no more pinking but thats it... The plan now i have some spare time again is to knock up a rear boot rack, i have got the tube in ready.... the headlights still need sorting.... but who needs them it is almost summer

 Re: The Dirty 'D'
Well a nice way to start the day.... someone had slashed my roof, guessing that the police would not be interested i knocked up this.... If anything it makes me feel better.... and hopefully makes the person responsible feel just a little be ashamed...

Wankers. Just hope your sign doesn't encourage a repeat offence.

 Re: The Dirty 'D'
I am guessing that will be the case anyway... Roy cannot get my replacement roof for a couple of weeks ... most likely a good thing.

 Re: The Dirty 'D'
You should report this to the police, yes there is perhaps not much they can do after the event, but the matter needs to be recorded. I say this after 34 years of policing as if we are not told then how can we be expected to tackle crime? You may well not have been the only person in the area to suffer mindless crime. The other side of the coin is that not reporting crime gives a false impression that crime is down, this then gives justification to reducing the amount of police needed. Off me soap box now I travel to my house in SW France nd pend 6 months there,it is suprising how few 2CV's and the like you see. Mind there ws 7,500 at Salbris las year
