Post Re: 1987 2CV Bamboo
Well today I worked on another 2cv up the road from me, came home expecting my new clutch and gasket set to be here so I could do the engine properly ready to be fitted tommorow, and FedEx have kindly buggered off back to the depot with them! the scoundrels apparently 'Attempted deliver' WTF is that? They tried really hard to get them out the van and leave them in my porch but the task got the better of them? Twatys.

So, now I have to call loads of idiots who care little about my clutch and less about my car, trying to find where it is and why the hell they wont just deliver it.

Also, I might ask them if I can meet the delivery man who 'Attempted delivery' today, if he can't get a small box out of a van and put it down near my house he shouldn't be allowed a van to drive!!

Whinge over, I've got a beer and I'm chilling...

But how pissed off would you have been at them if they'd left 'em in the porch, but some scumbag had nicked 'em...?

That is such a pisser, Russ!

Our postie is such a knob that he'd rather fill out the card, than hoy a parcel over the back gate. We have a great big brass knocker and a bell on the front door, and 90% of the time someone is in, so why do they knock really timidly, and run away? Do they not want us to take our parcels?

Privatise the goddam lot of 'em, and just have the parcelforce guys (stars IMHO)! :D

Rant over. :|

we had a 'stand in' parcel person.. who dispite the parcel saying on it .. leave in green house.. decided to take it back and leave a card.. in the GREENHOUSE!!! it wernt even a sign for one... prat! The usual chap is good, if he cant leave it he knocks on poor unsuspecting neighbours doors till he finds on in and then tells us where it is.. record is 15 houses away...lol

You've got me worried now... I'm going to be going to Russ's house this weekend - in a LWB Sprinter.

Now, about that insurance excess...
