hour and 45 mins start to finish. turns over fine and fired up. earth fault still there and I dont believe its charging very much if at all either... more revs should charge better but mines uses volts... will check sunday whats going where exactly.... wiring is not my strong point!

guess whos back home? JEREMY!

now 5 speed autobahn cruiser with many new lovely parts including working starter and decent clutch! Have still got a list of bits to do before Czech including the fuel system again with decent pipe this time, clutch cable, wiring protection and some trick bits oh and hanging the doors etc... nothing like cutting it fine. best get outside and work on him really! excited but scared!!! :P

I'd take it to an auto electrician for a check-over and possible recon before fitting. It's a PITA, but it doesn't require engine-out - not even Citroen are THAT daft. Just remove the inlet manifold...

1st drives seem fine... steering no heavier and ride the same. but these grip (where required lol) and they were only £47 each delivered and £5 fitting and balanced!

hung doors properly today too so no one else will fall out on foreign roundabouts (sorry neil) lol

Czech trip wasn't so successful... ended in a fail picture after dangerously battling to avoid the breakdown recovery. It was too unsafe even for me to drive any further in the end :cry:
