Last night coming home, down the back lanes, involved very... judicious... use of the right hand pedal.

Hmmmmm, I uses my right foot on that far right pedal, means I can look out the windscreen and steer ;)

Sunday and virgin media had broken their broadband so in the absence of abusing the internet and as it was pretty nice out i decided it was wheel bearings and kingpins time.

Both sides. I hate wheelbearings.

Have some pointless pictures......

told you they were pointless.

I hate wheelbearings, amazing how much quieter it is now though and the kinpins had so much play you could walk through them. And thats with regular-ish greasing, Dammit.

MOT in april, just the welding bits to do now :)

Yeh, thought so. I was _sure_ Louis had replaced at least one front wheelbearing on that van before - and that certainly looks like it's both recent and his work. Nice neat peen, new nut, drilled out old peen. How bizarre.

Kingpins are not a surprise.

Ah.

I must be thinking about one of the others, then. I know we got through a lot of wheelbearings on the 4x4, and my mind must have linked those to the Acad... I assume they were both thoroughly aged?
