From 2CV.nl I picked up the news that there was an Cimos Ami for sale sitting around in BiH, and I just happen to be there on this moment. Last week I did a reckon in the environment but I couldn't find it, this week Rusty from 2CV.nl provided me a phone number so I could call them. Yesterday when I had time I called an I could pick it up today.
Price was around €850, bit pricey for such a rustbucket but this is not a normal Ami but a Cimos, and they are quite uncommon.

Some first impressions:

The outside is quite bad, especially on the left side and the roof section:















Also no mirror on the off-side, was that optional on the Ami?



The interior was also quite 'lived', the only maintenance ever done to it was just to keep it running:



The engine misses the battery but looks not that bad, but who knows what secrets may lay hidden under the bonnet:

That rust on the gutters of the car is going to be nigh on impossible to repair really well. That's fine if you just want to smoke it around for a while looking down at heel. If you want to build a really nice example find another starting point.
